When you get a glimpse of your self though the eyes of someone who loves you, it is the greatest gift. You are that resilient, you are that versatile, you are that desirable, you are that thoughtful, you are that brave, you are that kind.

All you can take from someone who loves you is that self, and hopefully you give that love back a plenty by allowing them to be known by you, deeply and unreservedly and for you to embrace that self completely before handing it back to them, wrapped in your tender gaze.

For them to know that you are one of those who hold them, that you are a vessel for them to inhabit. That in their life they are known by you and they are not going to live through the horrors and wonders of life unwitnessed.
